This review provides an overview of Pyramid Solitaire, a card game that involves clearing a pyramid structure by forming pairs of cards that sum to 13. Played with a standard 52-card deck, the game begins with 28 cards dealt into a pyramid consisting of seven rows, each row containing a number of cards corresponding to its position. Each card in the pyramid partially overlaps the two cards below it, covering the upper left and upper right cards when available. The remaining 24 cards form the draw pile, from which players can draw to a discard pile, with only the top card available for play, respecting the constraints of the game rules.

Gameplay revolves around selecting pairs of exposed cards—those not covered by others—and removing them if their total value equals 13. Aces are valued as 1, Jacks as 11, Queens as 12, and Kings as 13, which can be removed individually. Cards that are blocked by others are not eligible for pairing until uncovered. During the "Temp Store" mode, players have the option to temporarily move a single card to an auxiliary store adjacent to the stock, thus increasing strategic options. Drawn cards from the stock can be matched with exposed cards, and successful matches increment the score.

The game also features bonus scoring for completely clearing the pyramid, with additional rewards based on consecutive wins or achieving higher game levels. When a set of cards is successfully removed, the score increases accordingly. The overall score is thus tied to performance and game progression.
